TATIANA MACGILLIVRAY

Tatiana earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing from UCLA, where she graduated summa cum laude and won the Ruth Brill Scholarship Award for excellence in fiction. She holds a Certificate in Creative Writing with a specialization in short fiction from The Writers’ Program at UCLA Extension, where she has been nominated for the James Kirkwood Literary Prize three times. Her fiction has appeared in Westwind, UCLA’s Journal of the Arts, and her literary research was published by UC Irvine. In 2023, she was selected to participate in the American Short Fiction summer writing workshop. Tatiana is currently writing a collection of short stories set in Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband Bryan and golden retriever Zeus. She watches Jeopardy! religiously and plays Wordle every day at midnight.
